The Canadian Bioinformatics Help Desk (CBHD) provides 40 free hours of consultation or software development to projects located in Canada, and 4 free hours of consultation or software development to projects located elsewhere. In return for our free service we ask that, when publishing or presenting our work, you acknowledge the Canadian Bioinformatics Help Desk and the CBHD staff members that assisted you.

For projects that require more than the free allotment of consultation or software development, we request that you:

1. Name the CBHD staff members who provided assistance as coauthors on publications that make use of the contributions they provided or
2. Pay for the services provided. Fees are negotiable and are established before work on the project commences. Click Here for our latest price list.
